Lauren Fellows. b. 1992

I grew up in Boulder, Colorado, but I currently live in Seattle. I graduated from the University of Puget Sound as a Japanese Major/Geology Minor, but I like to spend my free time drawing. My other hobbies include photography, writing, playing video games, and skiing.

I started drawing seriously when I was around 10 years old. I’m mostly self-taught, aside from a few classes I took in high school. For the most part I draw Fan Art – art paying homage to anime series and games that I like. I use fan art to hone my skills as an artist, but I also have original projects in the works that involve both drawing and writing.

My main medium is digital, for which I use Adobe Photoshop (and occasionally Illustrator). I am also comfortable using some traditional media, such as watercolor and colored pencils, but I like the freedom and control that comes with digital art.
