Annual Party Graphic

I was tasked with designing the main graphic to promote a synagogue’s annual party and fundraiser. The theme was “Welcome to the Next 50 Years,” following on from the previous year’s 50th anniversary celebrations. The client suggested a space age or mid-century modern look. I decided to go with the former, and designed my graphic using vintage postcards and posters as a jumping-off point. (The logo on the rocket is the synagogue logo, recolored to match the theme; I did not design it).

I also used individual elements from the piece to design other marketing materials, such as flyers to be posted around the synagogue. Below is the envelope used to send out invitations to synagogue members.
